Heavy electric HGV (>16 t) - price trend

-32 % since 2020 (ICCT). Falling battery prices drive the trend. TCO parity with diesel already reached at 4 to 6 years of use.

AFIR: EU rules for HDV charging infrastructure

The heavy-truck charging network is going up now along your main routes - plan early and you secure the TCO edge.

  • AFIR means business: by 2030, HDV charging points of at least 350 kW must line all TEN-T core corridors - no more than 120 km apart.
  • Germany leads the build-out but must accelerate sharply.
  • Plan the switch early and you secure charging access and a cost edge before demand ramps.
